The Community Board of Gourri is inviting you to the beautiful village of Gourri on Sunday 18 June 2023 between 11am and 7pm to our traditional festival “Stes Strates tou Paliou Tzierou” ” In the traditional streets of old times” The event includes several activities for both adults and children.
-Demonstration of traditional food preparation and crafts -Three themed museums (folklore museum, bee and honey museum, bicycle museum)
-Traditional music concert by Vasiliki Hadjiadamou and her band
-Folk dances
For the little ones: Treasure hunt, face painting, children theatre workshop and inflatable castles. During the festival we will treat you with Cypriot coffee,traditional food and deserts. Food and Beverages, traditional and contemporary will be available for sale. At 11am The inauguration ceremony for the restoration of the road in the village center by The Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. Constantinos Ioannou. Parking areas already arranged and transportation to the festival and back will be available.
